Just introducing myself a little: I'm Kayla, one of the Chicken Keeper admins here, but you can call me Kayla, Kay, Kaylalalala... Just don't call me late for dinner. 😆 Okay, I might also be the Queen of corny jokes, and puns. Total comedi-hen over here. 😁 I have been Chicken Keeping for longer than I wish to reveal age-wise. It all started with my Dad. When he was diagnosed with Leukemia, one of his bucket list items was to wake up to the sound of a rooster again. That year taught me many things; Chicken Keeping being one of them. He did get his Rooster crows after all, and they continued long after he was gone - a sound that still brings his memory to life everyday. I'm happy that you're here. I'm happy that you found this little nook in the world, where chicken keepers can come together. It's not always easy, but having the right resources at your finger tips makes a huge difference. So make a cup of coffee, and pull up a chair: let's chat!
